Because of the rise in the lake elevation, considerable floating
debris can be found in the headwaters, narrow channels, and at
random throughout the reservoir. Boaters need to exercise caution
in all locations, but especially on the upper half of the reservoir.
The temperature of the main channel water is 58 degrees in the
mornings, rising to as high as 63 degrees by late afternoon. Creeks
and protected areas can be as much as 5 degrees warmer on sunny
afternoons.

bass 18 inches or more. But now, a fisherman is only allowed to
keep two. One that’s under 17 inches and one that’s
