| When the lake water drops
below 50 degrees, and the air outside becomes cold and crisp, it's
time for the famous float and fly. Float N Fly fishing is probably
nothing new to some smallmouth bass fishermen, and if you haven't
tried it yet, I would strongly encourage you to bundle up in your
thermal suits, put on some thick socks, bring out the propane heater
and some hot coffee, and head to the lake. Nothing compares to this
fishing technique! The float and fly is a simple, but very effective
way to catch some really big smallmouth bass, as well as other types
of fish in clear, deep lakes.
Since winter- time smallmouth
bass fishing is one of my favorite hobbies, I have made this website
for those of you who would like to learn more about fishing with
a float and fly. And for all the true die hard fishermen out there
who may already be familiar with this type of fishing, feel free
to share your fishing experiences with the rest of us on our Fish
Talk page. Hope you enjoy!
